TMI 04/23/2021 – George Floyd’s Murderer Faces Historic Verdict, BLM Protestors Falsely Arrested 90% of the Time, Ever’s Budget Legalizes Cannabis, Mass Shootings Begin Again

The Minneapolis Police Officer who murdered George Floyd, as captured on live video, (whose name I use as little as possible) faced a historic verdict as all three charges came down as Guilty. We examine just how unprecedented the verdict was and how that directly shows how deeply corrupted and harmful our current system of policing is.

Then, we investigate how, across the USA, BLM protestors were arrested without cause or evidence simply to create the false impression that the protests were unlawful and in need of such inhumane tactics as tear gas and rubber bullets. Then, we talk about Governor Evers’ budget for the State of Wisconsin which includes legalizing cannabis and reforming the troubled youth prison system. Finally we touch on the sad correlation between the ending of stay-at-home orders and the sudden return of mass shootings. TMI 02/19/2021 – Fossil Fuels’ Failure in the TX Freeze, Cities Underreport Carbon Footprints, NYC Surveillance, Diagnosing You Under Your Skin

When Texas suffered catastrophic freezing, cutting power to much of the state, right wing media (followed all-too-predictably by mainstream sources) blamed the wind turbines that had locked up in the cold as being the reason why people were suffering and dying. But wind turbines function in much harsher cold than Texas offered just fine, pointing to a problem in cheaping out on their maintenance, and deeper infrastructural issues in the fossil fuel pumps that failed in much greater abundance there.

Then, we discuss how many cities throughout the USA are, intentionally or not, notably underreporting the impact they are having on the environment, and what needs to happen to correct this. Also, we touch on the overwhelming surveillance apparatus that the most populous city in America has built – is it worth it? Finally, we tell you about new medical techniques that are being developed to use the layer just under your skin to diagnose you with potentially greater accuracy and with far less invasiveness than current practices. TMI 01/15/2021 – The Press Must Remain Free, COVID Goes Ape, Gov. Snyder May Face Justice

While people quake in fear of Senator Hawley’s lost book deal and President Trump’s banishment from many social media platforms, they often cite the First Amendment’s guarantee to Freedom of Speech. Ironically, they forget the rest of the First Amendment’s guarantees, including the part that protects Twitter, Simon & Schuster, Facebook and even TMItmiTMI.com from having to publish ANYTHING they don’t want to be associated with. We’ll discuss.

Then, a pod of gorillas in San Diego have become the first great apes (aside, arguably, from humans) to have contacted COVID-19. We’ll look into what this means for Silverbacks and us humans.

Finally, former Governor Rick Snyder of Michigan may be one of many facing new charges stemming from the murderous mismanagement of Flint’s water in 2014-2015. TMI 3/22/2014: Fighting the Silencing Governor with Mike Crute of The Devil’s Advocates Radio, and more!

Mike Crute, with his co-host Dom Salvia, run The Devil’s Advocates Radio program on The Mic 92.1 FM here in Madison. It is designed to offer a place for differing points of view, and thanks to that managed to get an exclusive interview with GOP State Senator Dale Schultz, wherein Senator Schultz vehemently decried his own party’s plan to suppress the vote.

But that’s not the only way Dom and Crute have been fighting Scott Walker’s campaign of silencing his opposition: by spontaneously joining in the Solidarity Sing Along once, Mike Crute (as well as Dom Salvia) were arrested. His defense attorney won his case on First Amendment grounds, clearing the way for many other arrested singers… but that story is not over yet. Listen in!
